Drum Circles
It might sound funny at first, but when you see your team all bopping along to the beat in their Zoom™ windows, moving in sync with each other and smiling from ear to ear, the feeling transcends time and space and you truly feel like you’re all in the same room together!
Music and rhythm have always been powerful forces for bringing people together. When we hear music we all begin to move in time with one another. Studies show that even our brain waves synchronize. In this time of separation, music and drumming are powerful ways to unite across physical distances and cultivate a sense of connection, community, and teamwork.
Relaxation & Self-Care
My techniques do not involve sitting still, closing your eyes, or having to silence your mind, so even if they’ve tried and rejected traditional meditation in the past, your employees can explore a more flexible approach to stress relief. In addition to facilitating a group relaxation experience for your team, I’ll also empower them with simple techniques to use throughout the workday to quickly release stress and anxiety, reduce overwhelm, and restore focus and productivity.
This group is currently offered via Zoom™. It’s available as a shorter experience of 30-45 minutes to fit into a lunch break, or a longer presentation of 60 minutes.

Resilience Against Burnout: Concrete Coping Strategies
For healthcare & mental health professionals and first responders.
Most presentations on resilience lack concrete strategies that work in fast-paced, high-stress environments. You need simple, real world solutions for stress and burnout. That’s what you’ll get from me. Your group will be empowered with quick and easy techniques to release harmful stress from their bodies and minds and restore balance, even in chaotic environments. I’ve worked in hospitals for many years, including in an ED. I understand the fast-paced unpredictable environments in which healthcare workers, mental health professionals, EMS, and other first responders work.
- These environments make resilience practices very difficult—and also very necessary. That’s where my “Two-Minute Turnarounds” come in. They’re concrete, evidence-based, and very simple stress relief techniques.
- They can be done anytime, anywhere, without any equipment—in a vehicle, at a nurse’s station, at a desk, in the hallway between patients—and they only take two minutes!
Learn how to quickly release tension, lower blood pressure and stress hormones, and calm your mind so you have better emotional and physical resilience and can restore a sense of balance and focus.
